Professional Activity Days Gone ____?

Discuss what takes place during the professional development days teachers take part.  They are beneficial, but their ill timing during the school year serves more as a mental break and reflection, rather than an opportunity for making real change. Will also comment today on the very unfortunate suicide of a TDSB Principal, who was accused of racism during a professional training session.

I was taught to be coloured blind. If the new orthodox is to see race first - then count me out. The news always is more sensational and alarming then what I have witnessed in my career, but it does create a perception. Here to push back against that and lean in with ideals that have fostered much progress. Not as far as we need to go, but certainly better - not worse.
